Hello and Welcome to my Wedding Photography Program.
Let me first tell you that many successful professional photographers began their careers by shooting weddings, either for themselves or working as an assistant for another studio. You may have already been asked by some friends or family members to take some photos for them, or you may be thinking about starting your own business. Wedding photography is often the first paying job in a photographers career, but the most often asked question I get from budding photographers is; How do I start? How do I create a business card, or flyer or even a contract? How do I learn the basics? What equipment do I need?
This is why I have created this program in an easy to use PDF format. It really is a Studio-in-a-Box. Everything is here, from learning the basics, to the forms (as a digital file) you will need to print so you will looklike a professional when showing prospective clients your work. And remember, the information here can also be used for portraits, product, commercial or other forms of photography. You are not limited to just weddings, although initially, weddings could be the most lucrative path for you to start your business.
On the samples page, you will find an overview of some of the pages in the program. The program has been designed to make viewing and reading on screen as easy as possible. You will see they are in a landscape or wide screen, format for maximum productivity. I have designed the program so that you do not have to do a lot of scrolling up and down the screen to get to the information on each page.
This program is not a get rich quick scheme, promising fantastic sums of money without doing any work. However, if you are serious about making the effort to earn additional income, or as a full time business, then I believe this program will work for you. Just about everything you need is here. But please, although you can make thousands of dollars from a single wedding, you do have to work for it. The tools in this program will help you make that sort of money.
To make money today, in the difficult economic times we face, often means working for yourself. With the help of this program, and your efforts, you can be running your own successful studio within a short time. With this program, you can start by working part time weekends or weekdays, and gradually build a business that will sustain you with full time work. About the Author.
Tom Jackson has been photographing people and places for over twenty years. For many of those years he has specialized in wedding photography. For the past ten years, he has also specialized in computer imaging, electronic publishing, computer design and computerized digital photography. In this program, he brings those many years of experience to you for a very small investment. If you really love photography, and want to make money, then this program is for you. It is different to anything else out there. You can buy books, go to seminars, even work for a large studio. You still will not get as much as you will from this program.
I Supply Everything You Need.
Everything is here for you. Sample business cards, letterheads, price lists, technical tips, how to choose the right equipment and accessories and much much more. In short, with this program you have a studio ready to go. All that is required is your input. If you enjoy taking photos, you may be ready to start immediately. If not, you may need to study the technical sections and do some practice before you start. Either way, this program will get you started, in your own money making business, in the shortest possible time.
As an owner of the program, you will also be free to write for help at any time with any aspect of the program or pointers you may need in setting up your own studio, or for help in any other area pertaining to the program.
Edit the Business Forms and Make Them Your Own!
As part of the program, there is an Adobe InDesign file consisting of all the business forms. With this file, you can modify the contents to your own use. If you do not own Adobe InDesign, you can take the file to an imaging bureau such as FedEx-Kinkos in the US. All these stores have computer systems which you can rent and make whatever changes you need. If you do not know how to use the system, the staff can make the alterations for you.
You will find everything you need, from a sample contract, to a sample price list, to a photo selection form. There is also an extensive explanation on using these forms in your own business.
Digital Technology.
I cover digital technology in detail and show you what is possible with a digital camera and some of the new software, designed for photographers and image manipulation. While it is true that you can often SAVE a bad image in the computer, it is still way more time consuming and difficult than taking a good shot in the camera in the first place. The aim of this program is to provide you with the tools necessary to take good photos every time.
Custom Design Option.
When you purchase the book, you will receive sample files for business cards, letterheads, advertisements, brochures, flyers and more. You will also receive an original Adobe InDesign file of all the forms, ready for you to print your own forms and you can customize these anyway you want, with your business name and contact details. In short, everything you need to promote your business anyway you want. You can print this file at home on your own printer if you own Adobe InDesign, or take it to a service bureau like FedEx-Kinkos, and print them there on high resolution color laser printers. You can make changes to all the forms, including the prices etc. If you do not own Adobe InDesign, the service bureau will have computers set up with the software and you can make changes there. The pricing on the forms at this time are there purely as an example, and are not intended for use as is. However, for a small additional fee, I will work with you and design your cards etc. and provide a PDF ready for printing. You just provide your name, address and contact details. If you have a logo, you can send it to me for inclusion on your materials. If you do not have a logo, we can create something for you. This is a very low cost option, typically a designer would charge around $125 per hour, but I am offering this to you for just $79.95 including the course.
Please Note:
Wedding Photography is a very serious undertaking. The Bride and Groom are entrusting you with the task of taking photos of a once in a lifetime event. You need to be confident that you can deliver exactly what the bride and groom are requesting. A wedding is not something that you can re-shoot next weekend. If you do not deliver the goods, you will have some very angry people knocking on your door looking for a refund.
This is why I have provided everything for you here to give you the very best grounding in everything it takes to become a successful wedding photographer. Wedding photography can be lucrative and a lot of fun. And the pleasure you can get from knowing that in a small way, something you have done will live on long after you have left this world. Not a lot of people can say that. But with wedding photography, you most definitely can. It is a great feeling, and just watching the smiles on the faces of the people you do work for when they see the resulting photos, is truly a moving experience; AND, you get to make some money at the same time, awesome.
